Our major fundraiser is the Holiday Home Tour, “Joys of the Season”. This event takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving and showcases five beautifully decorated homes for the holidays. Net proceeds are granted back to the community. Tri-Lakes Women’s Club Community Grants Program has provided over $1 million in grants to area nonprofits, public service agencies and D38 schools since 1977. The program focuses on smaller organizations that typically do not have the staffing or resources to pursue grants from major granting foundations. These grants fund important and highly impactful services to the community.
TLWC also offers the opportunity to participate in a variety of service projects, social events and interest groups that further enrich the lives of its members. TLWC was named the 2017 and 2022 “Non-Profit of the Year' by the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
